How I predicted this SB matchup and Payton, the connections. (Conspiracy theorist you will love it)

The NFL has become too predictable, while I wouldnt be surprised to see a Rams/Chiefs matchup, I also knew a few things prior.

After the non call in the NFCCG few years ago with the Rams, prior to that their was some numbers that stood out to me even then prior to ESPN bringing up the fact the ranks for beneficial calls by officiating was skewed, it was favoring the Bengals years after year, but they never could take advantage of such a situation when Marvin Lewis is your coach. Maybe its now showing results.

Reason I hate the Bengals (Like Joe Burrow though), is another little fact people over look which can make conspiracy theorist go nuts is after the no call, and Sean Payton rallied to get a vote in the competition committee to review PI, out of 32 NFL teams, ,31 voted in favor, take a guess which one voted against? Thats right, the Bengals, same Bengals team that managed to draw up our old friend Vinovich in the AFCCG.

The Rams play into this is Vinovich, I still believe the Rams ownership is powerful enough to tilt alot of what goes on in the NFL in another direction, hence the NFCCG having all the L.A. officials in our dome to officiate. Thats beside the point that every time that Rams organization has switched cities, they been in a couple SB's within a 5 year period.

With all this done, the fact that ESPN put the spotlight on the Saints being dead last in beneficial penalties the last 3 years, since the no call game, Sean Payton quitting the competition committee, I believe the NFL (more so the committee, Goodell, who do you really blame?) for running Payton off, I think these facts is the reason Sean had to step away because he has no chance to do anything in New Orleans, they wont let him, pure and simple, reason I believe he aint done with coaching, where he ends up is anyones guess. It could be with Dallas, but dont be surprised its with a team with more powerful owner.

Very interesting post, makes me think if Sean stay's out of the coaching circle I could see a very revealing book being written.

I see the look in Sean's eyes. He's exhausted. It may be several years before he coaches again. People assume that he's just going to take one year off and come back. If he gets that Aikman slot, he's going to be commentating for a while before he's back on the field. It'll be nice to add some humble dynamism to most square, rigid broadcasting team in the history of commentating. I feel like Payton would be almost too good for Joe Buck. People say that Payton isn't much of a speaker but I disagree. Just look at his retirement speech. It touched on so many levels.
