pakowitz is evacuating
as many of you know, i live in cameron louisiana which is about 30 min from the TX border on the gulf of mexico. a manditory evac. is ordered for everyone to leave this area by 8 pm tommorrow night and if u wait that long ur pretty much screwed so Nelly Ford and i are leaving. and if the water gets as high as it is expected to get there probably wont be anything left of our homes so this might be the last time u hear from me for awhile, i hope everyone else will be safe and i will try to contact the site again from another location... until then...

RE: Re: pakowitz is evacuating
I'm guessing Pak chose the Giants winning. If you have a great insurance plan like I did, I can understand why. Just make sure you take all of your irreplaceable items such as photo albums. Unfortunately after my home was destroyed, I now have zero baby pictures... well pictures period left of my childhood and my family. That pretty much sucks the most about it. Material things can be replaced by the insurance company.
Good luck in your evacuating... hope everything will be okay. |

RE: Re: pakowitz is evacuating
Bring your critical paperwork - passport, lease(s), financial accounts information, social security card, birth certificate, etc. Bring something that proves your old address - checkbook, utility bills, etc. Bring at least one pair of work clothes (if you're a white collar worker) - shoes, belt, slacks, tie, etc. Bring a jacket.
These are things I missed when my house got wiped out. It's made for a serious pain-in-the-ass, and it's my own fault for not bringing them. Safe, may you be. Caution, you should use. |
