The league has nothing to do with the six games. That was all on the independent judge. However, the league now has three days to appeal and Goodell can issue whatever punishment he wishes ... a full year suspension, for example. The NFLPA can only sue the league at that point, but cannot appeal his decision.

I understand there were no criminal charges pursued against either Watson or Roethlisburger. But 1 accusation = 6 game suspension and 20+ accusations = 6 game suspension seems a little odd.
Like Guido said, the league can appeal and extend the suspension and maybe fine him. But it sure looks like he is getting his best case scenario so far. |

Back to the thread topic and as no surprise the investigatory hearing has once again been postponed to at least two months from now.
It is becoming more and more likely that Kamara will not be facing any suspension this season and certainly not at the start of the season. |
