Agreed...the organization missed their window to offload this "got the payday" player. I don't see much good coming from him at this point and hope I am pleasantly surprised.

He is an employee, unfortunately he still gets paid without results, unlike the "real world". Which is the one we live in.

If he is actually having an "oh ****" moment my vacation is over, then good, back it up with results.

Your jib wouldn't pay you if you got injured on the job by one of your co-workers and then they pleaded with you to comeback to help meet their quota before while still injured?....You need to find a career change ASAP.

If I had a job where I got into a physical altercation with a coworker,
then got hurt and then did not keep in touch with my employer about the status of my health resulting in extended time missed, then I would not expect a warm reception from my employer when I returned.

Lls that didn't have anything to do with messing his ankle up week 1. Physical altercations happen all the time between teammates not sure if you are aware. Just think some you guys get butt hurt over players when they don't act according to your standards and that is weird.

You arent a top flight wr in the NFL, so that opinion doesn't really hold any merit.

Re: Michael Thomas back in New Orleans and in a good place

I’m betting he tries to force a trade. Without a Qb or Payton nobody is going to want to play here. In todays NFL players like Thomas call the shots. He will try and weasel his way onto a team he thinks can get him a ring.
It’s going to be very tough unless we get very lucky like we did with Payton and Brees. I doubt Winston even wants to come back, especially if the Steelers rumors are true.
