What is it that you feel he needs to do to make it up to you? As long as the team and his teammates are cool now what does it matter what a few fans think about it? I'm sure what happened peeved some fans like you and others. As long as he comes back and balls out what else does he need to do? Would that "make up for it" for you?

I'm genuinely curious as to this. Not trying to be a jerk or anything of the like.

I'll bet the vast majority of fans think the same way. It's natural.

You can answer the question, perhaps. What does he have to do to "make up for it"? My answer would be to go out there and kick tail on the field. Of course, he can't do that until the season actually starts.

The only answer is to be if not the best, then a top 5 WR in football again.

I can’t understand why anyone would have a problem with anyone that has a problem with what Thomas did. Doesn’t mean anyone is rooting against him. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t do very well for the team in the future. Doesn’t mean people aren’t hoping he does well for the Saints in the future.

But anyone questioning why some fans don’t appreciate how one of the highest paid WRs in the league reportedly acted and how it potentially impacted a team that missed the playoffs by 1/2 a game is just being argumentative. As far as him “making up” how about let’s start with getting back on the field and let’s go from there.

You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

I think especially knowing how hard this franchise has worked to build a strong locker room culture - we get even more pissed when something like this happens.

Most of us here played team sports and we at lest know how it would've affected our perceptions of a teammate.

You don't have to try, you're natural born, or maybe your parents failed you...well, they definitely failed you. You probably passed it on to your kid.

If it doesn't matter what fans think, then why is there an entire industry called sports reporting? So other teams can follow your re-tweets to know what's going on around the league?

You are neither the judge nor the jury little man, you're just that, a little man with no opinion of his own who likes to use the internet to validate his ego. AKA:

"Ghosting the training staff and coach about an injury and costing yourself a season on the IR is something else." We were 1 win away from a playoff spot, the defense was healthy and really clicking, the O-line healthy... we could have done some damage. Having MT on the field at any point probably gives us that win or more.

Yeah, and be a good teammate without distractions.
