When in HOLLYWOOD DO AS HOLLYWOOD

ROCKY II:
In the movie, Mickey wants Rocky to fight right-handed (not left) to throw Apollo Creed off and protect Rocky's bad eye. Then switch and you know the rest......Gonna Fly Now!!

Maybe theyll inquire on Peat this off season 🤣.

I understand it was against the likes of Von & Donald but boy they are bad upfront. Never gave Joe Cool a chance.

Protect the franchise or he will eventually take the route of Andrew Luck.

I was pulling for Cooper Kupp, primarily an Alma Matter thing and he being somewhat a local boy, so I guess I was pulling for the Rams, but not entirely.if that makes any sense. But I wasnt for the zebras in any way shape or form.

NFL really wants the Rams to win, it's pretty obvious. It almost makes me want to boycott the league.

The NFL needs that market. Thus the favoritism to that team. Roger got precisely what he wanted. Those fans will leave in droves unless that team is a winner, so he sets them up and arranges the 'win' in their stadium, because that's the only way to get people to leave the beach and watch his football.

The officiating on that last drive would be criminal if the league was about anything that resembled fair play.

I was surprised the Bengals did not call HB screens or bubble screens to Chase to take advantage of the Rams overloads and aggressiveness. Or Bengals could have done a rollout away from the overload and made the Rams pay. I feel like that lost them the game.

I guess we can count on winning it all February 9, 2025. That the next time we host the big game.

The last minute play calling change from the refs is why I can't watch the NFL anymore. It's too much like the scripted WWE. Theyn have an agenda and by God they will get their way! At least the players aren't screaming from their soap box every time the camera is on them. That got old fast. If I want to watch action I'll just have to watch tennis from now on. At least it's not rigged. :brood:

Didn't you put me on ignore?

Bah hahahaha...

NPD can't ignore. NPD has far too much disorder and worry about how NPD is being viewed to ignore the antagonist.

Get help speedo. You truly need it.

Know the missed call you're referring, but the only way Jalen Ramsey got pulled across like that because he was latched on to Higgins as he was and his momentum used against him...

Refs, then, on that play, got it right and let them play through, but those last couple of drives, wow, did the game officials deliver that one on a silver platter...

There was excellent camera angles and there's no way Bengals LBer Wilson should have been penalized...

Can't help but wonder what Goodell's payoff for delivering a Los Angeles Lombardi was...

If Rodge goes after Miami Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross for tanking, then they should open it up all the way on this bogus game officiating...

And the Twittersphere and social media should have at Goodell...

I dont know if you listened or watched but whoever announced the teams as they came out made it sound EXACTLY like a WWE match. Way too much hype.

It was The Rock, Dewayne Johnson. It was absolutely the wrestling vibe they were going for.

Because it's just about as real as the WWE. But I'm sure, as Roger's personal sack toter, you disagree...

Glad the Saints moved on from Apple. I fully expect him to bad-mouth the Bengals once he's either demoted or cut.

We missed most of the game caring for my 94 year-old mother-in-law. She had fallen just prior to the game and the cops and ambulance were forced to kick in the front door to get to her. She's doing fine with a bit of the flu, but I spent much of the day between home and where she lives 30 miles away. Caught most that I was able to catch on the radio driving to and from and the very end in the emergency room. Looks like I have some door jam repair to knock out.

I did, however, get to see Apple burned a couple of times badly.

Let us hope that they don't fix their line in Cincinnati which causes Burrow to want out and comes to NO and wins us 5 Super Bowls. Something about this dude, you give him time in the pocket(and it doesn't have to be much time cause he can move around and find a guy down the field) and he will win you games and championships. It's amazing to think how many times he's been sacked in the playoffs and still almost won the SB.

When the halftime freak show is the main topic of conversation the day after the game....pretty good sign the NFL is on it's way out. What a shame.

I used to enjoy them - I'm still upset that Van Halen was never offered the gig. I watched this one - it was just...too much for me.

Prince is still the leader in the clubhouse if you ask me. That was the definition of what it means to be worthy of halftime at the SB.

Yup. That's why they were able to garner those huge broadcast contracts.

The NFL is in the top 3 of most watched sports in Germany now. No surprise that they are placing a game there. With 83 Million inhabitants its a huge market that are willing to pay well for premium content. The NFL Europe had a huge following and some of those teams have fanclubs that are still holding get togethers.
