Where are there breakers in New Orleans....? Strange monicker or mascot.
Maybe Clubbers.... you know, for all the clubs, bars, and night life stuff.

The team originated as the Boston Breakers, the next year was the New Orleans Breakers, then finished as the Portland Breakers. No idea why they went with New Orleans for the rebirth???
