Have a look at the new uniforms revealed by the USFL's New Orleans Breakers
Not Saints related... but it's news nonetheless.
The USFL released images Thursday of the new uniforms for the New Orleans Breakers, who have been revived as part of the league's reboot set for this spring.
All of the USFL games will be played this year in Birmingham at the new Protective Stadium and at Legion Field. The plan is to move the teams to their own markets in 2023, but there's a chance multiple teams may remain in Birmingham next season.
Former Southern Miss and North Carolina head coach Larry Fedora has been hired to be the Breakers' coach. His staff has yet to be announced.
The franchises included in the eight-team USFL, and their coaches, are:
Birmingham Stallions (head coach Skip Holtz).
Pittsburgh Maulers (head coach Kirby Wilson).
New Jersey Generals (head coach Mike Riley).
Houston Gamblers (head coach Kevin Sumlin).
Tampa Bay Bandits (head coach Todd Haley).
Philadelphia Stars (head coach Bart Andrus).
New Orleans Breakers (head coach Larry Fedora).
Michigan Panthers (head coach Jeff Fisher).
