Re: Underhill Podcast 3-9-22
Really good info when Underhill's coworker could stay focused on the topic rather than players he liked in the draft. Upgrade the wide receiver room with at least three new bodies in free agency and the draft. We do need a speedster to pair with MT who has mostly been used as a possession receiver. We need a true #2 receiver to compliment MT in the first couple of rounds. Maybe even double dip in round three for role players who can develop. Mike isn't getting any younger and is coming off a major injury. As usual, we will try to find a mid-tier free agent in case the draft doesn't work out with our draft board. A true #1 tight end is essential since JJ and Trautman are a #2 or #3 at best if they develop.
We need a Honey Badger if we lose Williams and a replacement for Armstead when he leaves. I just don't see how we can afford to re-sign him. We haven't even discussed the O-line but the new athletic director might help keep what players we do have on the field. I'm hoping for O-line in the first round where we have them for five years. |
