Nobody is giving the FailClowns draft capital for Matty Ice, methinks. Contract is way too hefty.

Ask yourself, WWBB do? What would Bill B. do? And there is your answer. This is a team game. Yeah it's really nice to have an elite QB, especially when other parts of the team suck. Plenty of wasted Brees years with a bad defense... and a handful of bad decisions by SP as HC. At least SP recognized he needed to do something about the defense. And we have a really good defense now. Let's get some toys to play with, more beef up front, not mortgage our future with the loss of so many draft picks.... and kick some azz!

Honestly, I don't really see it as mortgaging the future. The draft is very hit or miss, especially in the 1st round.
