Make Kamara part of trade for Watson

Trade this years and nexts first round picks along with Kamara for Watson and one of Houston's third round picks this year. Kamara is expendable given his legal situation. We could unload a lot of money if we traded him. We have Ingram and we could easily find another steal in the third round or second at RB like we did with Kamara a few years back.

Kamara's contract was just restructured. We cannot trade any player that we just restructured because of the dead money cap hits. It wouldn't save us money trading them. It would cost us more.

How much more Mr expert or did you swipe that info from here:

Which players could be involved? No one who has restructured their contract this offseason can be moved without costing the Saints a lot of dead money.
You're not only a race-baiter but you're also a thief. Surfing the internet and repeatedly catching you doing this is almost (but not quite) boring.

Kamara is expendable given his legal situation.
Then why would Houston want him?

Since we probably can’t make Peat, Hill, Thomas, etc part of the deal due to their contracts being recently restructured, I wonder if Houston is interested in acquiring an experienced general manager whose priority is rarely thinking of long term cap or roster flexibility but is a wizard for any short term quick fixes. Make it happen Loomis.

Or this one... Why would Watson want to come here when you ship off the most productive receiver for the last two seasons?

Stuff like this isn’t a good look for organizations. Especially small market organizations. The Pats got away with **** like that because of Brady, but doing players like that sends red flags to other players you may desire. You gotta do right by players. This is a different age.

This is absurd. One of the best running backs in the league and multiple early picks for a qb who has not played in over a year? That would bring us back to the days we drafted a punter in the first round.

We are not a corporate run team. We are run like a family business where we value loyalty and take care of our players. We like high character players and Kamara fits that bill.

Not only that we just extended his contract to get under the cap. I want Kamara to be a Saint until he retires. Sure, he got in a fight with someone who apparently edged him into it. It happens. Settle and move on.

I have been in plenty of fights as a younger man and understand how easy it is to let someone get under your skin. Yes. We will miss him for probably six games but he is a weapon and still a great guy.
