Agreed. It’s got to be difficult having success Playing for Jax. I’d still rather have Winston, but Gardner would be a good plan B IMO.

Wasn’t Dougie Marrone the HC for Jacksonville while Gardner was there?

Surely he has given the Saints brass some input.

It depends upon what the input might be whether they'd want to call or not. Minshew went 1-6 under Marrone in 2020 to start the season and was not active the next four games. He had one more start later that season and lost.

Maybe in a new system he’ll improve … was reading the Colts board and apparently they aren’t high on him either :(.

Wasn't Baker playing hurt this past season? Torn labrum in the left shoulder. I've done that myself and it affects you when you turn your shoulders. I can give him a bit of a bye playing through that.
