Re: QB Andy Dalton Signed
Still not a fan of Winston; wish we had kept Trevor Siemian.

Re: QB Andy Dalton Signed
I dont know where Dalton played last, but I remember the last time the Saints got a QB, who had been with the Bengals, it was Jeff Blake, and that worked out pretty well.

Still not sure why many are so against Winston (just reading the general room here, not the specific post I'm replying too). He was on his way to an excellent season last year when he got hurt. Looks like he'll be ready for training camp. And hopefully he'll have a fully healed MT13 back to work with. If he can continue to be the smart and efficient manager of the offense with the threat of gunslinging and potential bombing when necessary, Winston will be a big help to the offense in 2022. SFIAH |

I agree. Jameis has potential but the media hates him and others like Stafford, so they constantly say they aren’t good or what have you. And people take that as gospel. Then when a player they’ve crapped on pans out. They can’t be man or woman enough to say you know what I was wrong. They’ll down play they good stuff and maximize the bad. They figure if I still say Jameis, Stafford, or anyone else they hate are trash, it’ll eventually be true and people will believe me. |

Re: QB Andy Dalton Signed
Just thought of another wrinkle. Dalton played against the NFC north for many years. He likely has some familiarity with the tendencies of the teams in that division. Don’t we play 4 games against that division this year?

He’s played more than a few games against Harbaugh and Tomlin coached teams. Couldn’t hurt. |
