If I remember correctly those were the days Payton was hell bent on building a defense like Seattle had without the personnel in place to do so. He was trying to fit players into roles that didn’t play to their strengths. When DA took over Payton stopped meddling with the defense and they got a lot better.![]()
Still pisses me off that most of Brees good years were squandered by ****ty defenses. |
