1. New head coach
2. Will MT come back as much of a force as he used to be?
3. Will Winston be the QB?
4. Will Kamara even play after the Vegas trouble?
5. What's the O line look like now?
1. Same coach, different position
2. MT can be just as dominant
3. Winston will be the QB
4. With the speed of the legal system is may be after the season before anything is known
5. It will look better than last year with only one starter playing the whole season

But, then again, I look at the cup being full.

Your answer to number one really shows you don't deal with reality. Your answer to number two is possibly right, but the way you say it with such certainty is perhaps one reason people call you narcissistic. You have no idea if MT will be the same player he was two seasons ago.

It is an optimistic point of view versus pessimistic point of view. I would be concerned if his game was not heavily dependent upon preparation, knowledge, and the ability to catch anything thrown in his vicinity. He was still making plays on that bad ankle two years ago. I see no reason for him not to be just as effective as he was before the injury.

As for the new coach, Allen is still in direct charge of the defense and the offensive staff remains mostly intact with the addition of one of the best offensive line coaches in the game in Doug Marrone. The notable absence is Payton whom several around here felt was holding the team back.

It is not pessimistic to ask, "Will Michael Thomas be the same player he once was after not playing for one and a half years due to injury?" It's just understanding there is some uncertainty.

Yeah, Guido has been unquestioningly in support of a CGM during all his troubles I’ll say that for him.

Given he has been arguably the most impactful WR in the NFL in the past decade I feel that support is warranted. He was always described as having a chip on his shoulder and a hunger to be the best. I'm expecting that chip and hunger to still be there.

The chip isn’t in question. His ankle is.

Legitimate concern.

I'm in the same camp as you as it relates to MT.

Me too. But even if he comes back 75% as good he once was. He’ll still be fairly dangerous, paired with a good no. 2

Only if one is concerned over his desire and determination. His game has never been dependent on his physical abilities. The guy only ran a 4.57 40. His vertical was only in the 44 percentile. His 60 yard shuttle was in the bottom 4th.
