Re: 2022 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
Here's what I love about this draft.
We sit with two picks in a range where top tier talent always falls because other teams reach. Therefore we're likely to get two quality starters and I'm prepared for that to be WR & T or LB and DE. I'll be happy either way. I'm also prepared (actually expecting) a trade back into a higher round for someone we covet. If the draft doesn't go our way, it seems like two veteran probowlers at S and WR can be signed immediately. |

You are aware that Loomis has never traded down, but has traded up 15 times. He has always stuck to the philosophy of quality of picks over quantity of picks every single time.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
Draft choices are made in terms of best player available rather than need quite often, don't you think? Probably MOST often. I think good pass rushers are always at a premium and you can't have too many. That said, I'd be surprised if one falls to us there, anyway.
