I did not say the Rams were superior. I was ONLY playing devils advocate and giving a logical argument against the Saint’s philosophy by pointing out another successful team (Rams) does it differently.

And when you accuse me of having a “life’s mission” against you, then you are freaking out

When did I ever say there weren't other successful draft philosophies? Go back and read closely. Heck, search the entire history of BlackandGold. All I said was that one could not logically argue against the success of the Saints' draft history under Loomis based upon the win/loss record over his tenure. That's it. That's all.

Although there is one thing we absolutely agree upon ... you do like playing the Devil's Advocate. :D ;)

I understood that And I disagree. Not because it’s you and it’s my life mission. The idea is flawed. You are using The win/loss record as the barometer of how successful the Saints have been in the draft over Loomis tenure. Not so. Drew Brees is the biggest reason for their W-L record and he was not a draft pick. I’d say the largest portion of Loomis success has been his cap management and FA (Brees, Vilma, Davis) signing rather than draft success. Too many Baptiste type picks and trading up for guys that were about 50/50 success rates. It’s just my feeling. I may be wrong. Not because I always disagree with you.

I think we’ve got the talent to have a historically notable D backfield like the Legion of Boom. Better start thinking of nicknames now! How about the apostles?
