2022 New Orleans Saints: Organized Team Activities

The players are showing up for OTA's! First chance to really start seeing the 90 man roster.

A healthy Jameis, Thomas, Taysom Hill, and Payton Turner would be HUGE to our group. Hopefully, we get a little lucky with the injury bug in 2022.

Nowhere to go but up. I couldn't get any worse.

I had crawfish twice while in Austin a few weeks ago. Yummy.

He could quickly transition from a solid special teams contributor (see Malcolm Jenkins) to a full-time starter. Either at CB or even safety.

Not only him but I like ALL our DBs a lot. Ceedy. Honeybadger. Mayes. Lattimore. Friggin Adebo is in his infancy. Tons of young guys fighting for depth sprinkled in with Vets. Only doubts about this D to me are injuries and middle pressure from the D line.

We've got science on our side now with the new faces we've brought in. That should be good for 2-3 wins by itself. We get back Winston, Turner, and Thomas. That's a pretty nice influx of talent!

So Dennis Allen said Michael Thomas is "not ready yet."

Seriously how long does this guy need? It shouldn't take nearly 2 seasons to recover from an ankle injury.

This could be serious … talking head exploding, nay sayers lost in reflection, most satisfying would be Brady and his defense smashing tablets.

I commented on this subject yesterday.

Not a good sign but hopefully Mike will be ready by the start of training camp.

The good news is that we now have Jarvis, Olave, Callaway & Harty.

How tall is Ian Book? Man, he looks tiny standing next to Dalton and Winston.

As for the ankle, from what I have heard there have actually been two recoveries. There was supposedly an issue during the recovery from the first surgery and he basically had to start over after another procedure. As for "not ready yet", he said the same thing about Winston, as well, in the interview. He said both were progressing well and said they were hoping and planning for both to be ready to go by training camp. He said Thomas is there "working hard" to get where he needs to be. There are a number of players working through off-season work it appears. That's fairly normal I would imagine.

How is working hard to recover from a second surgery seen as being a diva? Did I miss something?
