Jameis Winston reportedly is moving with a “visible limp”

During Week Eight of the 2021 season, Saints quarterback Jameis Winston suffered a torn ACL. He has been cleared to participate in the team’s 2022 Organized Team Activities, and so he is.

But there’s a catch. There’s a limp. A visible one, via Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.football. Underhill noticed the limp during last week’s OTA sessions.

I'm not sure if any of you have worn the rigid knee brace like Jameis is wearing in OTA's, but it takes some getting use to. The whole "visible limp" bit is overblown. He has been seen in videos for the past few weeks with no brace passing and moving with no limp whatsoever.

Check out this article and watch him in practice while wearing the brace in the included video.

Jameis Winston ‘commanding the brace’ after returning from season-ending knee injury

They just discussed Winston and his limp on NFL Radio this morning and both show hosts (both former players) said they weren't concerned at all and took it as a good sign that Winston was out there fully participating in the activities. They went on to say that the Saints roster is "loaded" and they are expecting Winston to have a great season.

Yeah, l wouldn't worry about it too much. He is ahead of schedule and throwing dimes.

Here's Nick Underwood, the person that mentioned the "visible limp" talking about how people have totally blown it all out of proportion. He said they read that one word "limp" and didn't read the rest of the article. He also mentions Jameis still getting use to the brace. Wonder where I've heard that before? :D
