Strief is entering his second season as an NFL coach.

Zach Strief returns in 2022 for his second season as assistant offensive line coach.
A 12-year veteran on the offensive line for the Saints, Strief originally entered the NFL and joined the club as the first of two seventh round picks (210th overall) in 2006 out of Northwestern. Strief appeared in 158 regular season games with 93 starts from 2006-17, then the 11th-most games played by a Saint in franchise history, third among offensive linemen. He also appeared in 10 postseason games, then tied for second in club record books, with four starts.

Not bad for a 7th round draft pick.

I'd like to interview Zach and find out what his ideas are. Is he the problem? Is Marrone ignoring him?

Zach is an assistant line coach with Sean Payton and the Broncos.

Oh well.....It's not much of a loss. Their O line is as bad as ours. We need some bright young innovative minds who can teach proper blocking technique and teach them to block in tandem with the rest of the line. I don't now where they need to come from. College of pros but this O line needs some type of guidance that they are not getting now.

Sad part is that it’s a talented line.

For sure.

All that draft capital in the oline shouldn’t perform this poorly.

Coaching must improve immediately.

If DCarr keep getting beat up, he’ll start to unravel & subsequent picks.

Craziest thing is Brees would make both the line and Carmichael look elite.
