Re: Deon Sanders Has A Blunt Comment About The NFL HOF
A lot of stuff works like this. In College Deion Sanders won the Jim Thorpe award as college football's top defensive back. Deion may actually live up to the name Jim Thorpe as an elite multi-sport athlete who also played pro baseball and excelled at track in college. But half the names alongside Deion as Jim Thorpe award winners couldn't even hack it in the NFL. If you think the Hall of Fame is bad, consider that Gerod Holliman, a 7th round draft pick who was cut in camp, spent 6 months on another practice squad, and washed out of the NFL has his name alongside Jim Thorpe and Deion Sanders.

Re: Deon Sanders Has A Blunt Comment About The NFL HOF
He really could. He was that great. I started playing football at 4 years old (1994) because I wanted to be like Deion Sanders. I played cornerback, a non glamour position at the time, because I idolized Deion Sanders. Dude is the GOAT. Not to mention the fact he came to crime riddled Jackson, MS to coach and invest into a HBCU, dude is a true legend.
