The New Orleans Saints will play their third and last preseason game of the 2022 season at 7 p.m. Friday 8/26 against the Chargers.

You can watch Friday's game on Fox-8/Gray TV or listen to it on WWL-105.3 FM/870-AM.

Who makes the cut at LB and WR?

Does Ian Book finally have a respectable game or will he be cut in favor of another #3 with updside?

There isn't going to be another #3. The Saints are in an unique position to know that TH7 can win football games from the QB position if necessary. Book will be released this weekend. He will likely not be replaced.

I don't think he's going to make the practice squad. Sometimes you have to recognize when you've made a mistake, talk yourself out of the false sunk cost fallacy, and cut bait.

Book is Garrett Grayson 2.0. Let's not take the same amount of time to come to the same conclusion.

I can see keeping Book on the practice squad. If for no other reason than he knows the system. Don't get me wrong, I hope we never have to use him this season, but in an extreme emergency... maybe.
