There isn't going to be another #3. The Saints are in an unique position to know that TH7 can win football games from the QB position if necessary. Book will be released this weekend. He will likely not be replaced.

I don't think he's going to make the practice squad. Sometimes you have to recognize when you've made a mistake, talk yourself out of the false sunk cost fallacy, and cut bait.

Book is Garrett Grayson 2.0. Let's not take the same amount of time to come to the same conclusion.

I can see keeping Book on the practice squad. If for no other reason than he knows the system. Don't get me wrong, I hope we never have to use him this season, but in an extreme emergency... maybe.

It will take a slot from a player that the Saints could actually develop to play for the team in the future. If the Saints really need a developmental QB, then they should scour the cuts and find one with more talent to put on the practice squad to develop.

Book is not the answer. It's time to return him to the library.

Keep him on the PS for one year.. then next year is the year of the QB in the draft. Go and get another young cat then.
