If you're the Saints, that's one of the ways you stay under the cap. Keep drafting good players and don't stay on the hook for the team destroying contracts, not that the Saints haven't done this before. Mebbe we should also consider that Ceedy was the product of the Saints defensive system?
I wonder how this plays out with the compensatory picks formulas. | |
