They wanted him gone bad we get a 5th and 6th and gave up a 7th.

Eagles have to pay him I get it but I was hoping for at least a 3rd

Yep. Feagles got him for peanuts. Ceedy must have really become a distraction in that locker room. Pretty apparent they wanted him gone.

I see Justin Evans taking on the strong safety role and Mathieu sliding down to the Nickle. I don't think Alontea is quite ready yet.

But again, once you start disrespecting coaches (DA, Richard, Ryan N) it's a wrap. According to Nick, Ceedy checked out (once no movement on new contract talks) a while ago.

Unfortunate.

I'd like to share the link from Nick Underhill but it's a paid service so I'll paraphrase ...

Ceedy became disruptive at practices, developed an attitude & disrespectful to coaches. He really did this to himself.

I'll miss his energy but you have to remain professional at all times.

As we see, the Saints organization has zero tolerance for developing a bad culture again.

I heard he wanted Lattimore type money. Sucks he developed that kind of attitude but I still think we could of got more out of the deal. Guy is a top ten maybe top five nickel
