Some coaches make you work to earn their praise...especially the hard nosed ones. Marrone, as I recall, was a top motivator and technician, which is why he was recruited away.

He could be one of the most influential coaches on the team if he can teach Peat and Ruiz the proper fundamentals and instill a tougher attitude. I read somewhere that he was focusing solely on the guards in training camp. Lord knows they need it! Fingers crossed.
