Re: Injury Report: Game 2 Tampa Bay
Yeah. They made the change back in 2016.
NFL drops “probable” from injury report, redefines “questionable” and “doubtful” Posted by Mike Florio on August 21, 2016, 2:40 PM EDT It’s definite that “probable” no longer will be part of the NFL injury lexicon. As first noted (as best we can tell) by Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald and as the league office confirms, the widely-misconstrued P-word has been dumped from the injury reporting procedures. “The ‘Probable’ category was eliminated from the Game Status Report because approximately 95 percent of the players who were listed as ‘Probable’ in prior years did in fact play in the game,” the league explained. There was a reason for that high percentage of participation. Although many believed that “probable” suggested a 75-percent likelihood of playing, it actually meant that the player was virtually certain to be available for normal duty. After the Falcons scratched quarterback Mike Vick, who had been listed as probable with a knee injury, from a 2005 game against New England, the league reminded teams of the true meaning of “probable,” and it began routinely investigating situations in which a player listed as “probable” did not actually play. The NFL also has changed the meaning of “questionable” and “doubtful”; previously, the “questionable” category reflected a 50-50 likelihood of playing, and “doubtful” meant a 75-percent chance the player wouldn’t play. Now, “questionable” simply means that “it is uncertain as to whether the player will play in the game,” and “doubtful” means that “it is unlikely the player will participate.” ____________________________ It has evolved into anyone not listed as "full participation" gets a "questionable" tag now and even some of them. |

Hopefully our D has had an additional week to work on their coherency and synergy. But I also agree our O Line looked troublesome.

Re: Injury Report: Game 2 Tampa Bay
Brady's in trouble!
0 sacks last week on Mariota made some of our D-line lose some sleep this past week. Marshon will be locked in too after getting shook up by those late game flags that almost cost us. Hurry the hell up Adebo... Linebackers will ride the confidence Werner has ignited in the LB corps. They need to start pronouncing the mans name right..I've done heard numerous people call him Warner lol Wasn't our streak of holding any single RB under 100 yrds broken last week also? That's nut checking type stuff right there imo and there will be hell to pay this weekend in the Dome!! Brady will have his say, but he'll be looking up from the lowest vantage point and flattened out on the turf often beaten, battered, and bruised. I believe he'll panzy out and have a ton of throwaways trying to deter another beating. Hell I don't blame him at 45 but so what you suited up suck it up buttercup and take dat a$$ whoopin champ. Praying we've game planned to keep Jameis upright against this defense. Hopefully we have our own O-line shored up for the challenge. I want a complete dismantling of tampa for Brady screaming at DA last year to go F himself!! The Dome will be Rocking and Deafening as long as we enforce/possess all the explosives Sunday. Dink and Dunk and a heavy dose of Fournette will not be enough to keep up. I also hope we turn this into a one sided shootout Brady on his back staring up into the Domes stars questioning his decision to come to The South works for me. Ready to witness a beatdown Lez Get It Dude |
