There are ways to completely eliminate the pain. I know. I get ESI's Epidural Steroid Injections) and RFA's (Radio Frequency Ablation) multiple times per year on my cervical region (C-4 thru C-7). Especially with the RFA's it goes from constant severe pain to virtually no pain with all of the nerve endings being burned away. This can last from several weeks to several months. I can go from not being able to comfortably read a book to being able to play 18 holes of golf after one procedure.![]()
They can also get local pain killing injections which will last for several hours. |
