Yeah, I don’t have a good feeling about this one.

If the Cowboys can win with Cooper Rush and the Browns can win with Jacoby Brissett we have no excuses.

If we trot an offense out on the field anything similar to what we've witnessed vs Atlanta, Tampa, or Carolina,it's another L in Big Ben.

This offense is just too vanilla & stale.

Our defense can only do so much to keep us in games.

We need to get Kamara involved in space.

“The New Orleans Saints offense has converted 13 of 39 third-down attempts through three games. That cranks out to a 33.3% conversion rate, and that percentage ranks 24th in the 32-team league.”

Source -> per NOLA staff writer T. Waack

Gotta do better and give the defense a rest.

And stupid penalties are contributing to that in a major way. Way too many 3rd and 15's in the first three games.

I was unable to get out to the bar to watch the Saints last weekend, but I saw a good chunk of the Vikings game. The silver lining is it gave me a chance to observe the Vikings a little closer before the London game. I'm also in Vikings country, so I am also in a spot to keep a closer eye on them than most others. Here is my pseudo scouting report for the Vikings:

- The availability of safety Harrison Smith should dictate how the Saints offense will attack. The Vikings are a different defense when he isn't playing.

- The Vikings o-line seems improved this year, both run and pass blocking. Saints need to bring it in the trenches defensively.

- You can take away superstar Justin Jefferson, but don't overdo it like the Lions did and leave KJ Obsorn and the tight ends wide open. They're capable enough.

- The Vikings pass rush has a bit more oooomph than last year with Danielle Hunter healthy and ZaDarius playing well.

- The Vikings have two solid cover linebackers in Kendricks and Hicks. Not as good as Tampa's but still pretty good.

- The kicking and punting for Minnesota has been pretty good and not the usual s**tshow it is for them some other years.

- Patrick Peterson has been looking solid. Probably want to pick on the other cover corners instead.

- The Vikings feel like a much better home team than road team this year. Traveling to London sucks, but we gotta like getting the advantage of drawing Minnesota overseas.

- I've always seen Cousins as a hot and cold QB. Hopefully cold Kirk shows up in London.

- I think the defense plays a little more straight-up now than they did with Zimmer and tried to give a lot of different looks.

It's probably a treatment day for JW but again, if the man is injured he needs to sit this game out and get healthy.

Andy is more than capable + this offense can't look any worse with him under center.

Hard to give much credibility there when they both think that Winston has a "spinal" injury. :D And then they mention Siemian as a backup.

Even quality sport analysts like Bart make mistakes on air too.

You probably haven't though .

Goodness gracious man.

It would be nice to see some quick screens this game. Force Winston to make some quick and easy throws.

They have very talented skill position players. This should be a fun challenge for our defense.

Have y’all noticed how the running back screens don’t really work for us anymore? It’s gotta be something about the scheme over the last several years that’s a dead giveaway to defenses.

What we have seen is the RB being wide open in the middle. Winston hasn't been checking down there though. I'd love to see them use that as more of a primary read and let Kamara do his thing and then hit the deep shot when they start closing in to attempt to shut it down.

Re: Week Four: Vikings vs Saints @ London

With Drew, it could possibly be defenses playing closer to the line with his noodle arm. With Winston, his eyes are locked downfield. But yea, you would think with a back like Kamara, our screen game would be a lot more effective. Let me re-phrase that. You would think with a back like Kamara, we'd have an existent screen game.

Winston thinks he's better than he is.
Hes trying way too hard to force the ball down the field, rather than taking what the defense gives him.

Constant deep throws, dangerous intermediate passes, zeroing in on one receiver for every throw and ignoring one of the most electrifying players in the NFL

Its not good? So Winston is playing then? Damn!!

I agree, it seems like we have over-corrected in trying to drive the ball down the field. More screens and off-tackle runs, pitches and sweeps for Kamara! Get guys like Kamara, Harty and Taysom in the flat. #FreeAlvin
