Marcus Mariota was STRUGGLING so guess what the OC/HC did? ... ran the ball 15 straight times. They refused to abandon it.

Meanwhile, the Saints O coordinator erases a PRODUCTIVE LTrain in favor of Ingram (barely got 2 ypc) for almost an entire quarter. Stick with what's working. Tire out that Vikings defense & DB's.

Coaching has to be better.

Seattle game won't be a gimmie either.
A lot has been made of how smart the Saints are to fly over early and acclimate.

But Vikings basically stepped off a plane and took it to our offense and defense.

True, but without that early fly over the Saints may have lost by two TDs.

That win over the Falcons still has us just one game out of a tie for first in the division with 13 games remaining.

When you have only one win it tends to loom large. The falcons were fairly brilliant to dump jones and ryan when they did, something we could learn from. Its possible there entire pursuit of watson was just a pretext to jilt and dump Ryan, if so that was a slick move. Soon they will have cap room and a draft pick and we wont which could make them dangerous in the regular season. They are still the biggest choke artists in the league and our bug accomplishment is beating one big choke artist. We have turned the highest salary cap spending in the league and mortgaging our draft future to win now into a tie for the worst record in the league and we move forward with numerous injuries as usual. Hard to put lipstick on that pug.
