Good read!
I would also add that NFL offenses needs to go retro by going back to a real power running game. Line up and punch the defence in the mouth. Not a lot of teams are equipped to do that anymore. |

Well we definitely got retro with beating a horrible Seattle D with 1930 Army style offense with Taysom Hill. I don't think that will work against good defenses though.
I would like to see us find a good traditional pocket passing QB. Hill is exciting but not durable. As we see with Russell Wilson, running QBs dont age so well. The trend toward mobile QBs was short sighted as many one year wonders dont hold up. We need to build an elite oline and a get a smart QB who can distribute the ball and has time to do it. |
