Who are you referring to Rell when you say “best player on the field regardless of paycheck”? Most of the big paycheck guys haven’t even been on the field. Honeybadger maybe? Who do you play instead?

Head scratcher that he wasn't on the field late in the ball game vs Cincy on 3rd and long. C'mon Pete Carmichael, feed your dawgs !

I love you Major and I don’t disagree. I just remember Hill taking a nasty hit/tackle that put them in a long down situation late in the game. I don’t have the answers, but he gets shut down like other guys too.

The Saints ran the ball extremely well (200+ yards) on the Bungalows. Even if he's held for a minimal gain, you eat up clock.

You need big plays to win at this level (see TH vs Seattle).

So far, TH has been one of the most consistent bright spot on offense. Use him ... especially in money moments in a game.

The guy is too important not to be on the field in money situations, even if he isn't targeted.

But I digress ...

FYI ...

Lattimore
Landry
MT
Peat
Trautman are all out on tomorrow night vs the Redbirds.

Kinda wish they would do away with TNF.

This is interesting. No designation for Winston or Dalton.

If he's on the field I rather closer to the line of scrimmage . Feel like Tyrann is better in that SS/LB role. Let Marcus Maye and Justin cover back deep n be the last line of defense. The statement was more general, implying that checks of any of the players shouldn't save them for not playing good football because it's alot of bad football being played and coached . Just start to make wonder n wander about what's going the drop off being so obvious

Agree with this for the most part. IMO they're losing their EDGE - careless, sloppy, repeated mistakes and a seemingly lack of desire for some to "lay the wood".

This seems to be DA's weakness.
