Just like some were reporting that Landry, MT & Olave would quite "possibly" be back for the Cincy game.

If you expect him back by the Raiders game, go right ahead with that thought process. 99.9% of us aren't holding our breath on the availability of Mike Thomas anymore.

The Saints are decimated by injuries & it could get worse.

Practice squad guys & 4th, and 5th stringers are a recipe for an L on Sundays.

No crap. One would think that bringing back arguably the best ingredient on the roster (Thomas) would be the very best recipe to replace those 4th and 5th stringers.

FYI, Andy Dalton has a back injury.

Per Nick Underhill.

Ice up AD.

When you get older things go out on you easier. It is definitely harder to stay on the field and contribute when you've got a bad back. It's hard to get up off the couch much less evading defensive linemen or blitzers and twisting your body to throw a tight spiral.

New Orleans Saints Are Waiving Wide Receiver Just Coming Off A Suspension

Quote:

The NFL is and always has been a tough business.
The Saints have waived WR Kawaan Baker, who just finished a 6-game suspension. The Chiefs have waived DB Dicaprio Bootle.
Baker was a seventh-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was told before the 2022 season began that he was getting suspended for six games.
Baker will now go on waivers where teams will have a chance to claim him. If he goes unclaimed the Saints have the opportunity to re-sign him to the practice squad.

His targeted return should be the Raiders game in week 8 according to that timetable.

Why put him on IR now when he should be nearing the projected recovery time for that injury?

Put the prima donna out to pasture with my cow. grade 2 turf toe; grade a milk.... lmao. Thomas is gone.:dunce: All That Money... just sitting the bench and scratching his ass.

I really don't understand your thinking. Are you upset with MT13 because he in injured? Or instead do you think he's not actually injured and just doesn't want to play?

It seems like in Mapcow world that the team should never invest any money into any player ever. Players like Cam Jordan are unicorns. Each and every player in the NFL is subject to injury. Injuries that will keep them out of games. Even the most talented get injured. But you have to pay the talented to stay.

So, are you saying that the Saints should become a farm team? That they draft talented rookies, work them on rookie contracts, then let them all go to free agency?

I mean Lattimore is injured too. Should we get rid of him too?

Explain it to me like I'm 5, please.

It's not about his age, it's about what's not protecting him upfront. Saints o line has collectively performed below average up to this point.

And some people wonder why Winston has been playing injured .
