Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
If you think you’re getting a #1 pick for AK you’re dreaming. Trading AK don’t make sense. You’re not getting a qb for AK, then you’re putting us behind the 8 ball cuz then we will need a qb and rb. With the chance of him being suspended only decrease his value in a trade. No more robberies, Chauncey Gardner is enough. Time for Loomis to try to commit some robberies and stop trading draft picks. Go get a real coach to help build this team back to prominence

Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
From what I seen the Eagles only offered a 3rd for McCaffrey…and I think CMC is better.

Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
CMC went for 4 picks a 2nd, 3rd and 4th for 2023 and a 5th for 2024. That would easily be a 1st and a 6th.

Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
I truly believe that eagles GM is toying with Loomis. Why not offer a trade for Swift instead, younger and just as talented. Why toy with Loomis you might ask, make that 1st rd pick we traded away more valuable cuz the likely of us winning w/o Kamara is almost zero. If he able to swindle a deal, he most likely offering a conditional 3rd with incentives that are most likely to stay a 3rd. Remember, they have a healthy Sanders. That eagles GM is a masterful robber. Without a mindful coach that know how steer this ship around, loomis will be more incline to eat the cheese and sink our team. A coach will discuss the variables (pros & cons). Dennis Allen on the other hand will be a yes man and let you shoot yourself in the foot.
Unless you able to get our 1st rd pick back this is a NO TRADE. No 2nd rd pick or eagles 1st rd pick swap with our 2nd rd pick trading Kamara. DON’T EAT THE CHEESE. |

Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
There's lots of players who have underperformed, aren't worth their salaries, and have often been injured. I fear Thomas will never show up or be worthy of his money again. Questionable at best attitude and now two bad ankles. Peat is talented and versatile but he hasn't nor will he ever be able to get healthy. Davenport will always be a tease at best. All the measurables. Injuries and no production. Onyemata makes no impact. Turner was just a bad pick. Badger is a cover guy on the downside. Landry just doesn't have it anymore. All this is known and it take some desperately over paying to get any value in return for any of these guys. The most glaring needs are at DT and Safety. The safety play has been atrocious. The CGJ not being a Saint this year was a failure of management. I see the Saints going with what they have and cutting bait with some of the bad salaries and playing a Rookie QB next year. Their being cheap for 3 years with offset the cap hits of moving on from Thomas and Peat. Allen might get another year but I doubt it.

Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
It’s been mentioned, but quite a few players are untradeable for all practical purposes. That’s due to future dead money. Latt, Kamara, Ram, Thomas CAN’T NOT be on the team for a few years. It cripples the team in dead money plus no team is gonna trade for their contracts. At least not and offer fair trade value.

Re: Let's Talk Trade Deadline
I'm not in favor of gutting the roster. It's time to let Michael Thomas go. We've been stuck in neutral with him. It's time to move on from him. Anyone who looks like they are not engaged should go too.
Sean didn't do us any favors by 1. Leaving and 2. Not drafting Drew's replacement. |
