He may not have the best arm but at least he knows how to make most of the correct decisions. He managed the games that he's played in pretty well.

Kamara said it best. "He sees the field well and goes through his progressions". That's a sharp contrast to Winston which some of us have been saying all along.

Meh ...

Dalton, Winston, or vice versa.

The Saints need to either draft a legit starting QB or in FA for 2023. Something that should have been done while we still had a legend in the buiilding.

If the defense was worth a crap Dalton would be 3-1 (at least)

OK, let's play the what if game. Who should the Saints have drafted? When should this have occured? Who would we have given up to make that happen? Where is this unicorn of a QB now?

The closest we're all betting on was Mahomes. Missed him by one pick in 2017 and would have given up Lattimore to get him. Probably would have been worth it.

Any others?

I'm all for drafting a QB from the good looking QB class next year. From what I've read there is some good talent coming out next year. It will be tough to get a top prospect without a #1 draft pick unless we trade Sean Payton to the highest bidder. There will be several teams show up for this auction. He's a hot commodity now.

Nonetheless, I also like vets who might do better with a change of scenery. I'm not sure who will be available that has a higher ceiling whose game could be developed. Drew is a good example of that kind of thinking working out.

Kind of hard to do but we double up on picks every draft. I would have taken Mack Jones at I believe 16th, nothing special yet but I think he is going to be good.
