Agreed. And as for the draft picks, they don't have to all be in the next draft. They could be spread out.

And I don't understand people saying teams should just wait. Why? What do you do for a coach in the meantime? Hire a guy you know you are going to fire in two years? And what if you don't get Payton? Too much uncertainty to wait for his contract to be up. You have to make the move.

very well could be the bolts, they have a very good qb in place and need just a few more pieces to complete their puzzle

So how likely is it that we get any picks for him and when does his contract end?

To me, wouldn't a team just wait until the contract is up, rather than give up a ton of draft picks for a coach who made 1 superbowl in 15 years?

1 Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints. A destitute franchise that had one playoff win prior. Gotta keep that in mind.
