Frank Reich Fired, Possible Offense Assistant??

The Colts fired Frank Reich.

Maybe we could pick him up as an offensive assistant. Like Dennis Allen, he was good as a coordinator. Even as a head coach he was above .500. His offense fell apart this year, but maybe he could not pay enough attention to it ad head coach. His running game was great last year. Pete Carmichael seems lost at times without Payton. Perhaps another experienced hand could help with the offense and allow Allen to focus more on the defense.

Also, Dennis Allen does not currently look like an amazing long term hire. We won our last game but have lost to some bad teams. It could be good to have someone on the staff who could fill in on an interim basis if ever needed. Carmichael is not ideal because he was reportedly never a leadership type personality and turned down even interviewing for head coaching gigs.

I have a feeling that there will be a few changes to our coaching this year.

Another vacancy to drive up CSP's market value?

Are you suggesting head coach? or do you think assistants walk for better jobs?

I hope that the Saints have at least called him to get ready for the offseason.

Assistant? I think Frank is HC material.

Indy shouldn't have let him go. If he doesn't get a Head coaching gig in 2023, I'm almost certain the Steelers will call.

Don't expect Canada to return for Pittsburgh.

They ain't letting Tomlin go as HC. That's not the Steeler way.

Sorry, I was speaking of the Steelers firing OC Canada. I don't see how they go into next season with him as a play caller.

He's been under a ton of heat this year with the play selection.

I'm hoping that they will replace the head coach. I am fully expecting a new offensive coordinator next year as well as having several assistance leave when Sean Payton goes back to coaching. He will poach the best from us, as he should, to build his future with whatever club we sell him to. We might even have just one defensive coordinator. On a side note, that was one of the flaws with Dennis Allen from the get-go. He can't make a decision!

The Eagles head coach was the offensive coordinator with the Colts. You see how they have gone since he left. Reich couldn't "fix" Carson Wentz or get much out of Matty Ice.
