Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Ravens
-By NFL standards, the Saints are soft. Soft in coaching and soft in effort. With the division lead at stake, they showed no fire or passion.
-As a 50 year Saints fan, my interest in watching this team is equally soft. -I believe T. Hill could play safety better than those currently lining up there. And he absolutely should be the QB for the rest of the year. |

Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Ravens
Just like the team wasn’t nearly as good as they looked blowing out the Raiders they aren’t as bad as they looked last night. They played one of the best teams in the league after they came off a Thursday game. As
mentioned Werner and Taylor got hurt during the game. Washington and Ellis had to log a lot of playing time. It’s a bad look and they weren’t prepared. Take it week by week is all we can do. |

Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Ravens
- The Dalton experiment has run its course. The Ravens had a secondary that could be beat, but Dalton wasn't the man to make this happen. He looked immobile and slow. His decision making was poor. Two yard outs on 3 and five. I'd rather take a Winston pick here or there for at least a chance to hit some explosive plays at any time.
- Lamar Jackson is sick. His passing game sucks, but he can carry the ball 30 times a game and can't be stopped by anyone. - Losing McCoy really hurt. Ruiz has locked down RG the past several games and after being forced to snap Throckmorton couldn't stop anyone in his stead. - Ravens fans were present in huge numbers. The most I've seen this year by an opposing fanbase. - As mentioned by someone earlier, the stagnant playcalling and execution by the offense forced the defense, which I believe performed quite well given the circumstances, to simply wear down as the game progressed. - The addition of Roquan Smith played a major role from what I could see. He was in the middle of play all game long. - Did I mention Dalton continues to miss open receivers on key plays? |

Re: Observations from the Saints' Loss to the Ravens
I don’t understand. They used him quite a bit last week. And he was making plays and doing great. Then this week he had 3 touches. And none until the 3rd quarter if I’m not mistaken.
