Hopefully Dalton has had a good week of practice.

Not a fan of some of those hospital passes to Olave the last few games 😏.

Side note - didn’t even realize the Rams were 3-6 .

I think we may get to see Winston again, at some point, in this game...

Is Hill healthy? Is there any reason we shouldn't be able to see Hill-Dalton collaboration this week?

I think Hill is healthy, but they seem to be keeping him under a specific snap count for some reason.

As someone else said in another thread, since JW is still healing that back and he's under contract for another season, they're probably saving him up for next season. Hopefully, they can get another QB option in the off season or in the draft.

I don't think it so much a snap count, but the frequency of the situations for plays that have been specifically designed for him.

When properly designed, the offense is exciting. Pete C just doesn't seem to be able to sustain a diverse offense for 1 full game.

Sometimes yes, but the amount the Saints dwarf other teams in amount of injuries over the years, something is definitely wrong.

I've been following injuries across the league off and on this season. You'd probably be surprised at how many teams are in the same boat as far as injuries. Coming into this week there were 276 players currently on IR across the league and more than that out with injuries, in addition. The Rams alone placed three starters on IR this past week. If you have the time visit some fan forums around the league. Every one of them it seems has reoccurring threads talking about their injury woes and they all mention "strength and conditioning" as one of the problems.

Personally, I believe the players are simply bigger, stronger, and faster and injuries are becoming more and more unpreventable. Another issue is the equipment. Shoulder pads and other body padding has shrunk tremendously over recent years and shoes have become lighter and lighter providing less and less support. I read that the shoes alone has led to greater numbers of plantar and toe injuries.
