The Saints opened at -1. It's now up to -3 in most places. -3.5 on SI's sportsbook.

There's a reason. The Rams have only won three games this season and they just lost their starting LT, RG, and their top offensive weapon last week alone. They have more players (12) on IR than we have (11). Even prior to these hits to their offense they had scored 74 points fewer than the Saints, albeit in one less game, averaging the 29th fewest in the league thus far.

But, most importantly, the Saints are at home. That usually comes with a three point cushion in the odds. So, basically, the game is a pick 'em right now.

Saints opened as a 3 point favorite in many spots and got as high as 4 point favorite in some…

We haven’t been able to do well against Aaron Donald with healthy linemen and Drew Brees playing. Baltimore wrecked us with their new LB. Pittsburgh wrecked us with Watt. With the injuries we have it’s easy to expect Donald is gonna wreck us as well. Plus they know the refs are gonna screw us.

Anything can happen but it’s surprising vegas didn’t see it that way.

Means your reasons are pitiful and unworthy. Just like your predictions of undefeated seasons

So you are saying that losing three offensive starters including their best weapon doesn't affect the perception of the Saints' chances of winning? "Pitiful and unworthy" reasons for the odds moving?

Um, Okay.

Sorry. Then I totally missed what you are calling "pitiful and unworthy". Please explain to this unfortunate soul.

You aren’t interested in a discussion. You just want to argue. As usual you are dishonest in your twisting of my words. I fully well realize the Saints play at home. I fully well realize the injuries Rams have had. Your need to act superior and try to explain/argue against my OPINION is what is pathetic/pitiful.

I didn’t address line movement. YOU did. I said OPEN as a favorite. I see a three point favorite opening. Considering the Rams are the defending champs with a stable/established coaching staff and we aren’t that surprises me. Considering the have Donald vs the state of our line that surprises me. The Saints just lost to a 2 win team. It’s HIGHLY likely the refs will “favor” the Rams in this game. Considering this that surprises me.

I know enough to weigh the pros and cons going for each team when looking at the matchup Captain Obvious. Considering all the pluses and minuses and surprises involved, I can’t believe the Saints opened as favorites. It’s pretty friggin simple.
