Re: Saints Wednesday Injury Report: 2022 Week 11 vs. Los Angeles Rams
The player who accounts for 75% of the Rams offense is out for the year.
Allen and Loomis are glad to see these injuries. Excuses are their currency. Allen has never won anywhere. Every full season he has coached his teams have started 3-7 and finished 4-12, thats where we are headed. We knew a bunch of these guys like Davenport and Peat were glass long ago. Lattimore fell in the draft due to injury concerns. We knew Cam Jordan was getting old and we got Ingram and Landry cheap because they are old. Some other players getting injured in unfortunate but injuries happen. What other teams do is they don't trade away half their middle round picks because they find that when their starters get injured, having the backup be some 3rd rounder with lots of upside and another 4th rounder competing with him is better than having the backup be some washed journeyman or undrafted free agent. And then if you do have predictable injuries with poor backups you can cascade the effect and get more players injured from the chaos it creates and forcing players into unfamiliar roles. The injuries are not per se Allen or Dalton's fault, they are Loomis' fault, he built the roster for excuses not results. |
