My Post Mortem Win Takeaways

The Downers:

- More injuries. Do we need an Exorcism on this team? There HAS to be some explanation other than bad JuJu!
- PC and his play calling is pretty bad. Use of Kamara and Hill is still a head scratcher.
- Lack of speed at Safety is a glaring deficiency. Maye is a bigger plus back there than I realized, but the rest are little to no help over the top in defending deep routes. DA needs to fix this or we keep getting burned by speed guys with decent QBs.
- 2 INT's over 11 games?
- Tackling continues to be an issue. Akers is NOT Henry! Wrap up the RB's instead of trying to lay the Big Lick on them and you can stop the 6+yd gain for a 1st down.

The Uppers
- Ellis. IMHO, the man has earned a starter position. Nice play in the absence of Werner.
- No name D-Line. I'm all smiles because what could have been a disaster turned out to be a strength on D.
- Olave... say what you want about them trading our 1st round next year to move up and get him. I'm glad they did!
- Rasheed, Landry, and JJ. Please keep it going!

Mixed Bag
- AD was making better timing throws this game. But I keep seeing him staring down the right side of the field, when he's got guys WIDE open in the outlet and downfield on the left side and then he takes a sack. QB coaching?
- O line did a decent job of shutting down Donald (as much as that's possible with back ups), because I honestly thought he was going to have a career day.
- Amazing what happens to team play when they don't shoot themselves in the foot with flags!
- Kudos to all receivers that served Ramsey a nice hot cup of STFU!

You’d rather they play like they did against Pittsburgh?

If that’s what you garnered from my post, you should work on reading comprehension.

It was a question. If you can’t answer it no problem.

I know injuries come with the game but Turner’s injury is one that could have been avoided. After the play was made, Payton began to get up and celebrate. While he was coming to his feet, he failed to realize that there were still 300lb men falling behind him.
I’m not against guys celebrating but doing it prematurely may cost him some
time.
By the way, he looked great before the injury. And you could tell his presence was missed.

-A win.
-Olave is the truth.
-The Rams have waved the white flag but it's fitting the Saints ended their season.
-Granderson is going to have a breakout season next year.

Honestly, there's not a team in the NFC that the Saints couldn't beat on any given Sunday if they could avoid the turnover. Atlanta just took a hit with Kyle Pitts suffering what appears to be an MCL tear which requires surgery.
