Sean Payton’s first season was his first season with the Saints, Dennis Allen isn’t new to this team or players.

Before I say the rest I have to ask if you put any thought into Sean Payton’s first season before making that comment or just felt like defending Allen?

Sean Payton’s first season was 2006 and went 10-6, in 2005 Haslett went 3-13. Why would anyone ‘call for his ouster’?

Guidope liked your comment because Twitter didn’t launch until 2006 and he has no reference material.

Your smartass name calling is unnecessary and your assumption is, of course, wrong.

I "liked" the comment because this part:

"Just saying that many are spoiled having a winning team for all of those years, but the early years were lean!

I'm being patient and taking the wait and see route with respect to DA... for now."

As for Twitter, it is actually a great tool in that it quickly brings together any number of journalists works for quick and easy access. No more searching out articles from the original sources in various formats. They are all shared in a common medium. Yet, it is still only one of many sources I choose to keep as informed as I possibly can.

Yeah but really a little OT it seems that Drew Brees is going into coaching there for hopefully success as being a Purdue interim at his Alma Matter.

I don't think Drew Brees wants to get a coaching gig. I read that he is trying to ensure that the new coach at Purdue has a team buy into his Concepts. Drew is great for helping sell Concepts.

I couldn't agree more. Reading Twitter is consumption of thoughts as well as free and available to everyone, opining is the sharing of your own personal thoughts.

When the vast majority of a persons postings in a discussion forum are other people's thoughts that is neither opinion or thought. It is manual RSS, which is akin to manually shifting an automatic transmission.

The only part that I struggle with is the 'professional updates'. While many people that tweet are professionals, they are not professionals in the subject matter they are tweeting about. For what ever it is worth I view people that blog and make youtube videos for a living in the same light as people that make a living off Onlyfans. No one has hired them for their talent or skill, they have viewers because they show their bits are melodramatic and people do moronic things in general. Let face it, reality television is both an oxymoron and has a huge draw:chug:.

I can understand why Drew Brees says your heart hurts watching the Saints disappointing season. I know every game is a real chest clutcher for me.
