SP Putting Together a Staff

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Highest bidder!! I can't believe some of you here would settle for anything less than multiple first-rounders, plus, plus, plus. Sean Payton is widely viewed as the top HC candidate in years - a lock to turn a franchise's fortunes ...

I wish he’d come back and turn our franchise around. Lol

Probably because if you price teams out this offseason he signs where he wants for nothing the year after when the contract is up

There is precedent for multiple firsts. I didn't make up the number.

Gruden went for 2 1's and 2 2's.

Yes, other HCs have been traded for less, but Gruden is the best apples to apples.

Just as there is a precedent for overpaying for a franchise QB. Eerily similar costs historically.

You're going to have to show your work on that one Smash.

Then your cost analysis is incomplete!

Depending on where SP goes, he could also have a mediocre year. Does that mean he wasn't worth the price paid?

Bump! Adam Shefter's quote below is EXACTLY why Sean Payton is worth multiple high draft picks.

Sources: The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who 10 months ago signed a contract extension through the 2027 season.

The Cardinals still never have had a head coach - any head coach - last longer than six years while the team has existed for over 100 years.
