That's too many picks. I doubt the Broncos would want to punt almost their whole draft. I think it'd be better for both sides if it were a combination of a few picks and a few young cap-friendly players. Pat Surtain II, Javonte Williams. Maybe they have a good young guard too.

I read somewhere that players cannot be part of a trade when trading a coach, unfortunately.

The picks will be multiple and in multiple years. I think it has to be, unless you're the Texans.

Teams are desperate for a good head coach. Denver has all of their 2024 and 2025 picks.

Not saying Sean is headed to the Broncos, however the Saint's front office brass probably has the same mindset the Pels had with Anthony Davis.

Multiple picks.

Expect more teams to enter the SP "sweepstakes" after black Monday for NFL coaches around the league.

Texans have the most draft capital, and they are an AFC team.

1st, 3rd, and 6th this year
1st and 5th next year

Two firsts this year.

Seems like a less desirable destination IMO

Re: SP Putting Together a Staff

But we’re losing sight of things: What can the Broncos offer in a trade anyway? Players can’t be involved in trades for coaches, only draft picks and cash, so here are the picks in this year’s draft that Denver can put on the table:

2023 Round 1 (from San Francisco 49ers, via Miami Dolphins)
2023 Round 3
2023 Round 3 (from Indianapolis Colts)
2023 Round 4
2023 Round 5
2023 Round 6 (from Pittsburgh Steelers)

And here are Denver’s draft picks next year:

2024 Round 1
2024 Round 2
2024 Round 3
2024 Round 4
2024 Round 5
2024 Round 7 (from Los Angeles Rams)

That’s plenty of ammunition to put toward a Payton trade, which may explain the Saints’ nonchalance in waving them through to talk with him. We’ll see if Payton ultimately likes the Broncos opening enough to accept it. This is just an important preliminary step.

Denver works. I have no issues trading him to a division rival if we can extort more compensation from them.
