Give him 4 more, and he just might do it again. I'm gonna need more than aspirin, cigs, and booze to make it through even 1 more like this one.

It took his players four seasons to win back-to-back games. I haven't seen Allen take a snap all season.

So you're saying that 4 seasons worth of mediocrity from teams he's coached, has absolutely nothing to do with him and everything to do with the players? Lol

Nope. Not at all. Just like four seasons worth of mediocrity didn't have everything to do with him and nothing to do with the players. I'll repeat, I don't think that Dennis Allen can hold Payton's jockstrap when it comes to being a head coach, but everything doesn't fall on his shoulders. There's some things that are beyond a head coaches control ... like injuries to key positions.

Carmichael definitely needs to go.

Brother Diz,

I wouldn't even waste my time debating with certain posters here.

Some people simply can't see the forest for the trees .

And some people can only see an individual tree without considering it is just a part of the forest. Go figure.

Re: Observations from the Saints' win vs Browns

Bottom line is, we’re probably stuck with DA at least to start next season. Idk how short the leash will be, but I would be surprised if he doesn’t get to start the season as the HC, even if we lose our last 2 games.

So I’ll just hope for the best and expect less than average performance.

SP really had us spoiled. Especially those of us that have been watching this team for 3 or more decades. Look if the guy can put together a 10 win season next year, fine. I might bite. But I don’t have much faith in him right now.

It certainly wouldn’t hurt if he was some how able to win against the Eagles and Panthers the next week. And beating the Eagles is no easy task. But it would earn some confidence going into the off season.

God knows if the Saints had their record and they had ours, as Saints fans, we’d all be ****ting bricks about this game. Lol.
