There are subset of Saints fans who will never be satisfied until they see the 2nd coming of Marcus Colston: Just shows up to work, always available to play, consistently produces, and stays completely humble at all times. Colston's health was generally lucky. And the rest is just the guy personality. And it's clear there are folks that do not like MT13's personality. They don't like brash on social media. They especially dislike everything about the injuries and the handling of them over the last 3 years. They don't like the lack of production. And they don't like the huge, completely in the market, contract that MT13 received. So, you hear it from the in the terms: "soft" "broken" "diva" "not a team player" "overpaid" "needs to be traded". The list goes on and on and on and on. Arguing with them isn't going change their minds about this any more than arguing with you is going to change your mind. MT13 doesn't need to be defended. He's still likely to end up as the best receiver in Saints history. What we all need to hope for is just a little luck and the avoidance of the injury bug. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
