I'm just looking forward to every step of the off-season and to whatever happens with the team between now and the preseason. I'm going to continue to find as much pleasure as I can in following the team that I have followed for 55 plus years and take everything else in stride. I am anxiously awaiting any coaching changes and any current player decisions. I am optimistically looking forward to free agency and the draft. I am looking forward to the final schedule being released so we can begin planning our trips to NOLA for all of the home games. I am looking eagerly forward to all of the good things to do with my Saints in the coming year! Who Dat! :bng: |

"Guess what? You and I don't have anything to do with it. I'm not going to waste my time and energy worrying about anything I have zero control over." ^^^ Guess what? YOU and I have EVERYTHING to do with it. Without the FAN - the CUSTOMER, the DEMAND... There would be no Sport. So you go ahead and look forward to sitting back and having your Life Force pissed away, while multi-millionaires take it all in stride. At least you'll know that you have EVERYTHING to do with that. The rest of us will DEMAND EXCELLENCE (imagine that) |
Re: Observations From the Saints' Loss to the Panthers
Ravens just made Roquan Smith the highest paid LB in NFL history for some reason.
I'm reading that fans think they won't be able to keep Lamar Jackson due to this move. Maybe our chance to get him and make up for taking Davenport instead. |

My Life Force carries on strongly whether we go 7-10 or win the Super Bowl. I choose not to let anything piss away my Life Force, even if it is something I love as much as my Saints. I'll still drop $15K plus every year to attend games. I'll still spend hours a days checking the "wire" for any news on my beloved team. I'll still throw on any one of my many Saints shirts in the morning and run my errands repping my Black and Gold. Someday I hope that you too can capture the same sort of passion that can save you wear and tear on your Life Force and still give you the joy of having something special to follow cheerfully ... win, lose, or draw. Who Dat! :bng: |

Yet, I was there in the stands and sat in silence at the end for a bit before we trucked out to the car and started our five hour journey back home. I drove the first hour and a half being unable to say a word to my wife. We just drove in mutual silence. I then moved on and have continued moving on as life insists. I know I can only control what I can control. It doesn't prohibit bitter disappointment, but it allows me to keep my Life Force strong and healthy. Yes, I suppose we are different kinds of fans. We may both have the same love for our team but are different in the way we process those things over which we have no control. I wish you and your Life Force well. :bng: |
