No crap. I can't tell you how many times I've read someone blasting a safety busting his ass to try to make a play that wasn't anywhere near his responsibility only to get blasted by some confused fan that didn't understand it wasn't within his coverage.

Coverages IMHO is tough to understand. I played and coached football for almost 20 years and I still think a lot of the coverage concepts are hard to really understand.

They really are. Of course you play nothing but man to man growing up, but when I got to high school we had a college coach as a defensive coordinator and learning the responsibilities of the coverage he wanted us to play was a tough transition for me. You had deep thirds but different route combinations called for you to cover different things and it just took a lot of getting used to.
