The majority of these mock drafts that I'm seeing don't include safety high on the list. I think we need to fill that a little earlier in the draft because it's going to be a glaring need very soon. I do like the idea of focusing on the trenches at defensive tackle and offensive guard. We need to shore up our interior on both offense and defense which used to be our strengths.

Straight facts Rugs.

Look no further than KC (Chris Jones) & Philly (Fletcher Cox). Former Miss St dawgs in those trenches. Hargrave is no slouch either.

IMO DT should be high on the draft list. You can find a legit one in rds 1-3.

They updated the engine and values after this past weekend.

Here's the latest mock using PFF this time.

They don't like us taking Hooker or Spears. But they love us taking McKee, FWIW.

Another CB?

My hope is that we geaux DT or O line (guard) with that first pick. We could really use more help in those trenches.

His value was greater than other values, by a lot. So he fell to us in this mock.

Yes! Go with 2 QBs in case one sucks! I like it!

Re: 2023 Mock Draft Simulator

PFF draft simulator player grades as far as draft projection confuses me a bit on how players are projected, but let me know what you all think. Tried to tackle need and BPA with every pick obviously the Saints have their own way of doing things. Thought ot qould be nice to see no stone unturned as far as not leaving the draft feeling like there was pos we didn't take care of for depth or starters.

Re: 2023 Mock Draft Simulator

Funny how everyone or almost everyone has Hendon in their mock. Definitely means the Saints won't pick him then...Lls

2 back to back drafts like this where it's full and covering as much as you can. I think the Saonts could be in good shape depending on their QB n HC
